The Beckley Presbyterian Church is currently accepting resumes for the position of Sexton.

Radio Broadcast
The Sunday sermon, as well as other excerpts from
the Worship Service, is broadcast each Sunday evening on WJLS 99.5 at 7:00 PM.
All of Rev. Pratt's sermons at the Beckley church
are posted for reading on this website. Beginning in January, 2007, you may also download and listen to the audio version as it was taped during worship service.
Exercise Classes
Three mornings a week people from both the church and the community are
invited to meet in Friendship Hall (lower level) to enjoy some healthy exercise. On Mondays and Wednesdays
at 10:00 AM the class is called Positive Moves and uses an exercise video. On Fridays at
9:00 AM it
is a Line Dancing class.
YMCA "Happy Kids" Preschool / Day Care
The first floor of the Educational Building is used daily by the YMCA
Happy Kids preschool / day care program. For more information about this program, contact either the YMCA
or the church office.
Girl Scouts
A Girl Scout troop meets at the Beckley Presbyterian Church on the 2nd
and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 PM in the Educational Building, and occasionally in Friendship Hall for special events. For more information,

The Shepherd's Center
The Shepherd's Center is "The Fun Spot for Seniors" from all churches
in the community. They meet at the Beckley Presbyterian Church every Tuesday, 9:00am, September-May, and offer activities, classes, fellowship,

The Carpenter's Corner
The Beckley Presbyterian Church prepares and serves lunch on the 2nd
and 4th Wednesdays of each month at The Carpenter's Corner soup kitchen, which is located on Prince Street in
the First Christian Church Education Building. This is in conjunction with other area churches who serve on various
days of the week. Those wishing to help or contribute in some way should contact the church.
