2009 FALL SCHEDULE 
for BPC Youth Group
 
Sept. 13 - Youth Group (grades 6-12) will start up again with a 'kick off' celebration, 5:00pm at the church.  Friends are welcome.
Sept. 18-20 - Elementary School Bluestone Retreat
 
Oct. 24 - Fall Festival activities
 
Nov. 15 - Meeting 5:00-7:00pm
Nov. 22 - Meeting 5:00-6:00pm followed by Y-Night, 6-8:00pm
Nov. 29 - Meeting 5:00-7:00pm
 
Dec. 5 - Christmas Parade
Dec. 6 - No Meeting
Dec. 13 - Caroling following worship; no evening youth group
Dec. 16 - Youth Christmas Party, 6-8:00pm at Tiedeck's
Dec. 30 - TBA
 
NOTE: 
Middle School Youth will meet on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month from 5:00-6:00pm.
 
High School Youth will meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 5:00-6:00pm.  Then those who wish may go to Y-Night from 6:00-8:00pm.

About the BPC Youth Group
 
     The BPC Youth Group welcomes youth 6th Grade to 12th Grade.  They meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month in the youth room of the Educational Building from 5:00 - 6:00 pm then walk over to the YMCA for Y-Night from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  On the youth nights they practice music and hold devotionals that the youth conduct.
     Youth leaders are parents of the youth who, along with the youth themselves, help plan and organize the youth program and take turns working with the various activities.

2009 Graduates
 
Morgan Bridi, son of John & Diane Bride, graduates May 17th from WVU with degrees in Psychology and Biology.  In the fall he will pusue a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
 
Chelsea Butera, daughter of Carol & Mark Butera and granddaughter of Pat & Bill Rucker, graduates from Dearborn High School in Michigan.  She will enter Western Michigan to pursue a nursing program.
 
Christopher Fox Drescher: son of Nancy & Alan Drescher, and grandson of Lew & Shirley Fox, will graduate summa cum laude from WVU on May 16th.  He has been awarded the WVU Order of Augusta an is being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.  Christopher will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Child Psychology at the University of Mississippi this fall.
 
Daniel G. McGraw, son of John & Jonie McGraw and grandson of Walter & Virginia McGraw, became a graduate of Virginia Military Academy (VMI) on Saturday, May 16th.  He plans to pursue a career in the military.
 
Sullivan Parkes, daughter of Cindy & Scott Parkes and granddaughter of Pat & Bill Rucker, graduates from Millbrook High School in Winchester, VA.  She will go to Elon University in North Carolina on a track-cross-country scholarship.  She was also named United Way Youth Volunteer of the Year.
 
Carolyn Elaine Trader, daughter of David & Helen Trader and sister of Daniel, graduated on Saturday May 9th from Marshall University with a Master's Degree in Forensic Chemistry with an emphasis in DNA and Chemistry.  She will be working at Marshall University in the Forensics Science Department.
 
Ashley Williams, daughter of Martin & Rebecca Willams and granddaughter of Martin Jr. & Sue Williams, graduated from the University of Virginia with an Aunspaught Fellowship and with degrees in both Studio Art and Art History.
 
Stacy Amber Williams, daughter of Rick Williams and granddaughter of Kathryne Williams, is graduating magna cum laude as a Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois School of Optometry.  She will begin her residency at a Wilmington, DE hospital.
